Junior Bride And Groom, What Do They Do?

We are planning our wedding, which is just 8 months away, and the only thing we can`t really agree on is the junior bride and groom. So i need to know exactly what their job is in a wedding? what is the purpose of having them?

6 years ago for my parents wedding i was the junior groom and i had to march down the aisle with the junior bride.Its just to show that you want to be like them when you grow up.

The jr`s are just younger versions of the regular attendants. My sister will be 14 when I get married so she will be a jr bm and my sons will be 6 and 10 and will be jr gm. They will do the same thing as the regular ones.
