Need Gift Idea For Cousin...

I`m attending a cousin`s Quinc in Dec. What is a good gift to give? I`m assuming I need to give a gift, but I don`t know, I`ve never attended one before. Any advice would be great. Also what should I wear (I`m just a cousin attending)?
