I have heard that those websites take a percentage of the money that has been contributed.
We were going to use Sandals registry, but decided to do it ourselves.... I am just going to ask eloquently for money instead of housewares to contribute to our honeymoon. I have heard other people have done this before as well.
Good luck

We also thought about just asking for money. But the fees for using sendusoff.com is just 7.5%. A lot of the other services charge 12% and a signup fee, which just seems way too much. Considering that there is no tax, 7.5% is less than sales tax would be in most states...
Anyway, i just think honeymoon registries are going to be very popular in the years to come. Especially as honeymoon travel become cheaper, and the world becomes safer...
