Vow Renewal

I had a church wedding, but only my husband and two witnesses were there. We had no family or friends at all. It was like we eloped. I would like to have a big wedding when we renew our vows on our 10 year anniversary. I just don`t know what`s proper and not. Do I wear a big dress or make it simple, to I do anything at all like a 1st wedding? I don`t know. I would love any advice or ideas from anyone.
