Hawiian Wedding
Im planning a Hawiian themed wedding for June in Arizona. And my Fiancee and I were wondering what could we serve for the dinner that is "hawiian"?? we thought about a roasted pig like you see in movies, but i realized that, thats not a reasonable thing to do, and i dont think i could stomach seeing a pig like that. Any suggestions would be extremly helpful....

A good substitute method of preparing kalua pua`a (ground roasted pig) that is served at all our authentic Hawaiian luaus is to rub smoke flavor, garlic and salt on a pork roast, wrap thoroughly in banana leaves if you have any, and foil and roast. Almost as good as the real thing.
