Old Fashioned Wax Seals For Invitations

We are looking for a place to purchase a custom made seal. The kind where you melt the wax on the back of your wedding invitation envelope. You then press the seal into it to leave an indentation of a design or inital/s. The wax hardens and seals your envelope shut and it`s ready to mail. The problem is we can`t find one. Got any ideas?

Just go on google, do a search for custom made wax seals, and they are about 25 dollars with free shipping.

You can buy them at craft stores or even sometimes at stationary or book stores. Beware though, unless you are enclosing the envelope with the wax seal inside another outer envelope, you may need to pay extra postage or may not be able to send them at all except for courier. Talk to someone at your postal branch, we were going to do this until we were told that the wax can get caught in the machines. It also adds extra weight to the invitation envelope.
Good luck

My fiance and I were thinking about doing that but it can get ruined when they get mailed. An idea I saw was using colored hot glue and finding a stamp or button design you like and pushing it into the glue

Don`t do it....They get messed up in the postal machines. If you still want them or have even puchased them then use the seal on the inside envelope.....
