Painful Experience Fat Davids Bridal
Greetings to all Brides -to be. I wanted to share something with other brides eventhough it`s still a painful and humiliating memory.
My Fiance Chris and I flew from Nova Scotia, Canada specifically to Davids Bridal in Danvers, MA 01923 for our appointment to try on a dress I had selected from viewing their on-line catalouge.
I was so excited as we planned on one stop shopping for my dress , all the acessories I required plus my girls dresses as well that they had selected.
I want customers to know that I was treated horribly. I was showed a rack and then the girl dissappered. Later after searching for her to ask if I could try on my dresses she lead me to a dressing room where I was ignored and left waiting literally stripped down in this room waiting for her help left me for 20 minutes.
I peaked my head out discreeting twice to ask my finace to locate the consulatant but, she said " in a minute" and proceeded to assist someone else . She never came.
Also, I requested a size 12 dress yet I was given a size 10 penticoat to put on underneath which obviously would not fit. Nor was the strapless bra given to me in my requested size.
I attempted to try tsqueeze into hese garmets however, with the many hooks , snaps and the incorect sizing they got stuck!
My fiance and I are Christians so I could not request his help in this intimate situation so I was stuck literrally until I manage to get out of the clothing.
I attempted to try on my dress with the petticoat etcetera however, the dress had numerous snaps, hooks and buttons and ribbon that I could not attempt to reach either.
My finace went eventually to locate some one and she finally returned and said: " do you need any help"?
I managed to get re-dressed and in tears I came out and informed her that I did require assisstance quite a while ago and now I wouldn`t be needing her assisatnce .
I walked out humiliated and emotionally devastated after having travelled so far with such anticipation on what was supposed to be such a wonderful moment.
My story has a happy ending .My fiance prayed with me after comforting me when we left the store so I could find peace with what had just occured. We decided to stop for an ice cream when across the street was a bridal shop.
In an attempt to salvage the day we went in to GIANNA Bridal & Boutique on main street in Stoneham, MA
I received a warm welcome with three sales persons fuzzing over me and my fiance the entire time. I got a dream designer that was on sale lovelier and cheaper than Davids Bridal plus everything else I needed for my girls .
God bless, Tori Wheeler
