Center Pieces
Would like to ask, am planning a November 2006 wedding. Would like to know if balloon center pieces would work for a medival wedding? We are using candles lit for favors for each guest setting. I am having a dillema trying to decide.

Hi Donna,
Baloons would be just fine if that is what you would like.
If you are using candlelight I would love to work with you on some hurricanes? I could do different coat of arms on them or Knights...something to go with your theme and even votive holders to match. Email me anytime.

If baloons have a special meaning to you, then by all means use them, but if you are truely seeking out a medieval theme... They dont really fit. I love the use of candles, use that even further, get low or high candelabras and scatter petals around them (or fall leaves which I will use for mY Nov2006 wedding). Or go with centerpeices made out for pinecones fruits and gordes (natural elements that would have been used to decorate the high tables of Kings and Queens) Make your own "family crest and create a stencil of it and then spray paint it onto decorative elements (sheilds at the entrances, table runners for the tables, there are probably compaies that could put it on napkins etc for you at a small fee). Go to a dicount fabric store and find a heavy brocade in your color scheme and use it decoratively on the head table. Good luck and I love the theme!

Thank you for the help. I am really wanting to find some unique pieces like glass slippers, lighted churchs.... Some figures of pewter of knights and such. Like King Arthur and all.... Make it special.
