I Need Help! Plz Read
I met this guy my first year of college this year and we instantly connected. We haven`t been together all that long, but we both know this is it. We both have been through many relationships and we both agree this isnt like any other one we`ve been in. We are debating on the fact of getting engaged in like a month or so (ill be 19 in nov, hes 21). If we get engaged we both agreed that we will get married within 2-3 years, just to make sure this is what we both want. But the main concern with everyone else is that we havent been together very long (2 months). Should I go through with saying yes to him? Im so confused!!

I would say YES!!! But definatly do the long engagement. In 2 years you will be able to know each other better. Just be sure to listen to your head as well as your heart.

Follow your heart girl... If this is what you both really want and are sure of it... GO FOR IT... I have been dating my man for 2 months now and we are engaged.. Getting married July 2006. We both have been through many realationships in the past, we both have children and have had to mature and grow up fairly quickly.... I am 20 and he is 24... Age or time is not a factor... My husband told me he loved me within 2 weeks of meeting me and we started talking about getting married within two months of our relationship. We just KNEW. No one is better able to make this decision than you. SAY YES. An engagement isn`t a marriage contract. You can break it off at any time if things head south. I think you are right to have a long engagement, you will get to learn more about each other as time goes by. If I have learned anything, it`s that you can`t worry about what anyone else thinks.
