Creative Ways To Ask Maid Of Honor
I am looking for a creative way to ask one of my sisters to be my maid of honor. She already knows she will be a brides maid, but I am wanting a genuinely nice way to ask her to sit in the honorable place. Any suggestions?

Try taking her to Lunch & presenting her with a Card written by you asking her to be your Maid Of Honor & include some of your fondest memories in the Card as well or even Verses or a Poem you find to be fit for the occasion.
Hope this helps.

Hand her a rose(or any flower) with a little note attached saying, "This flower is only one of many that symbolize what you mean to me...you will be holding the rest while you stand next to me at the alter as my maid of honor." I dunno if that is to corney for your taste, but something along those lines would be nice.

You can have more than one maid-of-honor!

You could create a small scrapbook of pictures and special activities/events that the two of you have participated in together throughout your friendship. You could also add special poems or quotes. I recently did this for my bridesmaids and maid of honor and they all absolutely loved them. It takes time but it`s well worth it. If you like the idea and would like some example pages from my books, let me know. I will help you if i can. Good luck!

I just recently got engaged. I do like the idea on scrapbook, but any ideas that you`ve done would be great in the scrapbook.

I recently asked my bridesmaids and maid of honor to be in my wedding and I used CookiePots.com. They have the CUTEST gift sets with wedding dress cookie, wedding cocoa and wedding cake post it notes that come with an adorable card that either says "Will you Be my Bridesmaid?" or "Will You be My Maid of Honor?" - look on their website under BRIDAL category.

I have been contemplating asking my brother and sister in law to stand my my husband and I as we renew our vows next March. I am considering taking them to Branson and having one of the shows ask them for us up on stage.
