For Sale: Reem Acra Prosperity Gown (street Size 8)

I am thinking about selling my Reem Acra Prosperity Gown (replica). It is exact, down to the way the beadwork is done....the only difference is mine was made of Satin, the original is silk. This means the dress is not as shiny as the original...noone at the wedding figured it out =). The dress is diamond white, with swarovski crystal & freshwater pearl beading on the front, back, and down the train....i put box pleats in, & cathedral train...it has 50 bustles already put in. I am 5` 3" and wore 3.5 inch heels. The dress cost me $2500 which is less then 50% of the cost of the original. I wore it on June 25, 2005. But havent cleaned it yet.

If you are interested, please send me an e-mail. I havent thought about how much to ask for it, so let me know what you are thinking.

I had MANY MANY alterations done costing me almost $2000, I had 50 bustles put in as well as shortening, and taking in all over. (I lost 30 lbs)...further more, I had 3 crinolines sewn in to get the shape i wanted (each costing over $160). The woman i purchased the gown from sent me the basic dress, many additions needed to be made. I do not apreciate being questioned. If you are not interested please do not respond.

My integrity is not on trial here.

Kind Regards.

Wow no need to get offensive, maybe I was interested! But just didnt see how it could be so much when I could get my own from the site in my own size for less. Why should someone else have to pay for your own alterations, dont you think that any of us girls would have to alter the dress to fit? Id say you might as well just go to bargin-bride.com and get the same dress for less how we want it, your really not saving anyone money!

Im sorry that were not able to question you about the dress. You dont think someone is just going to say "oh I want it send it over" without knowing anything. Good luck!

Well I was on the site looking at gowns, I saw that they had Prosperity listed, I emailed them to ask for more pictures and they sent me pictures of the dress but with Pleats in the front and said I could also look on the site and see there`s a picture of a bride with it on. I looked, it`s not the greatest shot`s to show the dress but I also saw in testamonials that a girl named Julie posted she received her dress and it was a bit bigger than she expected, etc. Well I did other searches on the gown and found your post here for the same dress with same alterations and your name is Julie, so Its common sense. Im not at all trying to be mean either, I was just asking a question, but you got offensive. I would have been interested in the dress but im not into the pleats. But good luck to you in selling it.
