September 2nd Wedding

We are getting married on September 2, 2006. So far we have the church and reception venue booked... But I cannot decide on colors. At first I was thinking a cranberry color with gold accents. Then I was told that September 2nd is still Summer and that I should look into brighter colors like possibly teal and an almost lime green (sort of). I was wondering if I could get some help with color ideas. ANY ideas will help. Thanks!
