Floral And Table Arrangements
I am getting married in March 2003. The color in my wedding is pink. I don`t know whether to use hot pink or a pink/peachy color. I am looking for a flower that would make a beautiful floral arrangement and cheap but classy table arrangements. Any ideas?

You may want to try stargazer lillies. They`re fairly reasonable, have a great pink and ivory color, and smell wonderful!

For your centerpieces you can use different size glass cylinders, add colored water and place on round glass base and accent glass with pink rose petals. You can purchase the cylinders and round glass base from Wal-Mart or craft store and the florist can provide the rose petals.

What about clear glass cylinder type vases packed with hot pink rose petals and water with a floating candle and surrounded by rose petals around the outside base.
If you need additional ideas give me an e-mail.

Cristina,
In March, I`d go with a pale pink or peachy-pink tulip. Tulips are in-season in March and you can do them inexpensively. A vase with a handful of fresh cut tulips makes a beautiful and simply elegant spring centerpeice.
You might also consider potted tulips, that way your guests could take them home and plant them in their garden to enjoy year after year.
Tie in the favors, by giving your guests tulip bulbs wrapped in organdy bags and tied with a pretty ribbon.
E-mail me if you`d like more suggestions - I`ve got a million! I can be reached at mansurfamily@hotmail.com.
