Help.... My Wedding Is In 3 Weeks
I need some help my wedding is Sep. 15 and I still have so much to do. I need to figure out something for centerpieces THAT IS CHEAP...I need to find some songs for me and my wedding party to walk out to..... I also need to find a song for my soon to be husband and my first dance. I know this all sounds crazy and most of you are thinking this should be done or that I should have waited longer but the thing is my dad is very sick and will not be around much longer. I am the only girl out of 7 kids and it will mean more to my dad then anything to give me away. I just started planning my wedding 3 weeks ago and I have all the wedding clothes taken care of I just need a little help with everything else. So please if you have any ideas let me know. Thanks

Hello, My wedding is August 31, 2002 and I just purchased centerpieced @36.00 each and it turn out to become favors as well. Do not stress, the best weddings are last minute ones :-)

Don`t worry, even if you had planned well in advance, you`d still be in the same boat right now. My wedding is 9/14 and I`ve been going through the same thing.
Some Tips...
...No favors, I could care less, and after taking a poll on my website, it seems that none of my friends and family cared too much for them either
...Centerpieces are better simple, a white plate with a thick candle with rose petals sprinkled around is beautiful and elegant
...We`re doing our own flowers, just wrapping bunches with wire and then covering with fabric
...Food, the most expensive part?? Not for us, I hired Boston Market. They`re coming to our site, setting up, and serving (buffet style) for $8 a person (a $25 fee for each employee to server, maybe 2 people)
The only thing I spent a lot of money on was my dress and invitations. Enjoy it, don`t worry about anything. Pick the song that you guys love. Ours is At last, but was almost Valentine by Martina McBride.
Believe me, I`ve seen weddings that were planned for years and wedding that were planned for days, the only thing that makes a wedding is the fact that all your friends and family are there having a wonderful time.

GO TO A DOLLAR STORE AND BUY SOME 1.00 SMALL FISH BOWLS AND SOME CANDLES. HOT GLUE THE CANDLE TO THE FISH BOWL INSIDE AND IF YOU HAVE MONEY, DECORATE THE OUTSIDE WITH FLOWERS. AND ABOUT THE FAVORS, YOU COULD GO TO A FLEA MARKET, OR ALSO A DOLLAR STORE AND BUY LITTLE FIGURES AND TIE A LITTLE RIBBON WITH YOUR NAMES AND DATE ON THEM AND TO SAVE MONEY, YOU COULD WRITE THE NAMES ON THEM WITH A PEN.
