Bargain Bride Or Lkae Bridals

I am trying to determine the same thing. I can`t find any scam info on the web yet but I feel uncertain about their validity - they sound so good though! If I find anything I will post it here.

I purchased a maggie sottero vidal wedding dress from lake bridals i received in4 wks as it was in stock it was brand new with tags and certificate of authencity wendy was very helpful

It seems that Lake Bridal may be supplying their own references. Google the names and email addresses they give and you`ll see what I mean. Stay away..... May be a scam

What scam i live in the uk and have nothing to do with lake bridals except buy a dress off them recently they come highly recommended in my book and cheaper than other bridal shops on line buy from a local bridal shop if worried. I am pleasesd i didnt as i save alot of money

I recently purchased a beautiful bridal gown from Wendy. She was WONDERFUL, helpful, attentive, everything I could have wanted from a person in a bridal salon without the bridal salon price. Please do not think she is a scam. I was very pleased with my dress. It was exactly like I requested which was a difficult dress. It was made to look like a Justina McCaffrey dress that I would have paid $5000+ at a store and only paid $550! I can send you a picture if you`re still nervous. Feel free to email me if you have any reservations. I would recommend Wendy at Lake Bridals to any and all of my friends who are getting married. I have recently bought a beautiful dress from Wendy at Lake bridals also. She was more helpful to me over the phone than bridal shops were in person. This is the first time I`ve seen someone knock her online. If you are worried, take a look on the theknot.com on the wedding dress talk. And do a search. This is a huge website and I`ve only seen positive posts both here and there. Sellers beware of the above poster. She has NO validity what-so-ever!

Wendy cared so much about me and my satisfaction that she constantly went the extra mile, making the experience of buying online comfortable and giving me peace of mind through the entire process. My gown was shipped promptly, I was given the tracking number immediately and it arrived not only in time but EARLY. Hello. I`m a customer of Lake Bridals too. I can`t say enough good things about them. Wendy made a replica of an Amy Michelson dress "Soulmate" for me. The original one cost around $3,200, but the replica that I bought from Wendy was only $500. It came out perfectly, except for a few typical adjustments that need to be made and I got it in less than 6 weeks. I posted a rave review on the "destination wedding" board on www.theknot.com. Unfortunately, there`s no way to provide a direct link to the post, but if you want to see it then just search the posts from 8/24/05. I found Wendy to be completely professional and extremely easy to deal with. I have and will continue to wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone that asks.

I`m not familiar with Bargain Brides, but I had Lake Bridals make my wedding dress, and I recommend them highly. I got in touch with Wendy, their rep, first. Then I sent her photos of two different dresses from another bridal website, told her which dress I wanted the front of and which I wanted the back of, told her what color and fabric I wanted, and sent her my measurements. She gave me a price that was literally thousands less than either dress was selling for. So I paypal-ed the money to her, and in six weeks, when my dress was done, Wendy emailed me to tell me that my dress was done. At first there was a problem, in that the fabric I chose was too flow-y for the way the dress was gathered on the side. Wendy was really honest about this, and even offered to send me a different dress that she had in my size which was similar, at no additional cost. Even while she did this, though, she had her seamstress work on the gathers for a few days until Wendy felt it was satisfactory. It looks great, perfect, in fact. And I feel that it was very unusual for any business to go that extra mile, and to not send a dress until Wendy felt it was perfect. As a business woman myself, I KNOW that not many businesses operate with such a commitment to customer satisfaction. I am SO sold on Lake Bridals, and I`m recommending them to anyone I hear of in the future who`s getting married. They made the perfect dress for me and saved me a ton of money, which I am now spending on an over-priced photographer!
