Walking Down The Isle

I don`t want my father to walk me down the isle as my mother and father divorced before I was one. He has never been a part of my life. Therefore I want my son to walk me down the isle, but I know my father will throw a fit. I`m having trouble deciding what to do. I don`t want to be completely rude and not invite him.

I think you should explain to your father that it`s your special day, and if you want your son to walk with you, then so be it.
Your father must realise that he hasn`t really been there for you, so he`ll just have to accept it.
