Bad Service At David`s Bridal

When I tried to purchase my dress, I asked the sales person at David`s Bridal if they had a layaway plan. She said they did. I was eager to do that plan since my wedding was not for another 9 months. Then she said that if I did the layaway plan, that I would get the dress I just tried on (which I wouldn`t know how many other people had tried on before). I told her that I didn`t want a used dress. I was planning on spending close to $1000. Why would I spend that much to get a used dress. So I opted to pay it all at once so I could get a new dress. She told me the dress would come in 4 months time. In less than 1 month, I got a call that my dress had arrived. It made me wonder if the dress was truely a new dress if it came so fast.

The day after they called me, I went to pick it up. I had only purchased the dress and veil but another person picking up her dress had purchased the dress, veil, undergarments and petticoat. She was taken to the back to try on her dress. I, on the other hand, was just asked to sign the paperwork saying I picked up my dress. Then when I asked whether my dress would be put into a garment bag, the clerk asked if I purchased a garment bag. I told her that no one had said anything to me about purchasing a garment bag. I assumed when making such a big purchase that I would get a garment bag. The clerk continued to say that I needed to pay extra for a garment bag. I said ok, how much is it. She said it was $10. So in my frustration, I said ok, I`ll buy a garment bag. Then she said they sold out and wouldn`t get another shipment until the following week. She then asked that I signed the paperwork. Here I was spending $1000 and the service I got was poor. I felt like cattle being pushed out of the store to make way for new customers.

I called the next day to complain and spoke with an assistant manager. She said she would speak with the clerk who dealt with me and said that person was not a sales person but just a person who pulls dresses. The assistant manager said she would send me a garment big by mail free of charge.

A week went by, no garment bag came. I called the store to find out that the assistant manager no longer worked there. I spoke with the manager and she said she will mail me a garment bag. I said I would come in to pick it up. When I arrived, I proceeded to tell her about the poor service I received. She basically put the garment bag into a plastic bag, said she was sorry I received bag service and pretty much dismissed me to speak with another customer. Again I felt like cattle. Even the manager wouldn`t speak with me. What kind of service is that?
I`ve tried looking online for the corporate customer service but there is none on the website. Where can I write a letter and complain to?
