Including Baby In Wedding

I would like to include a 1yr 2mo old in the procession, but don`t think she will be able to walk by herself down the aisle. Thought about covering a wagon with white silk....Any ideas?

I think that it will look funny for you to carry a wagon down the aisle...think about something else.

My 2 year old daughter was my flower girl and I was worried about the same thing so what I did is had a friends daughter which is 5 years old walk with her. I have been to a few weddings that did the covered wagon thing and to be honest I never seen it work. The kid usually gets scarred and screams.

I had my one year old son escourted down the isle after me, when I married his adoptive dad, I was escourted by my brother and theny my son was carried behind me in his god fathers arms, my exhusband presented him with a ring as a token that he would always be there for him.

I think that would be so cute. A friend of mine had the ring bearer pull his little baby sister in a small wagon (decorated with white pillows and a white skirt) and then a bare foot flower girl came in behind her.

What I have seen work the best is when someone else carries the baby down the isle. Just make sure it is someone the baby knows so they will not scream.

I coordinated a wedding once with a baby as a flower girl and she was pushed in a decorated stroller by the ring bearer. You can buy a cheap stroller in your colors and decorate it with streamers and rose petals etc. The ring bearer put his pillow on the roof of the stroller and pushed it down with no problem. Seems easier to push a stroller than pull a wagon. :o)

I think a wagon is a cute idea as long as it is decorated elegantly. I don`t think I like the stroller idea.
