Outdoor Marriage And Reception Site

We FINALLY set a date for our wedding!! It will be Sept. Of 2003. I really want an outdoor wedding and reception (or at least reception) site but I`m not sure where to find one close to home. We live in the Metro - Detroit area of Michigan. I`ve been searching for a while now and haven`t come up with anything around this area. I don`t want my guests to have to travel too far. Any help with this matter would be GREATLY appreciated!! Thank You!

I am marrying in Sept of 2003 also. I also want an outdoor wedding. I am in Chicago, IL. I have the same questions that you do. I`d also appreciate some help. Thanks. What date are you getting married?

The Whitney may be able to handle an outdoor reception. Also check out the Inn on East Ferry in the New Center area (B&B with wonderful grounds and buildings). Best wishes!!

We are also looking for an outdoor venue for an early fall wedding. So far, the Detroit Yacht Club on Belle Isle is looking like one of the cheapest places and nicest outdoor options.
You might also try Meadowbrook in Rochester Hills.
