Any Ideas On How To Do This?

I have seen this done at another party but don`t know how to do this "mask"...imagine a photo of the birthday person (in color-face only) on a piece of cardboard which is mounted on a flat stick (like a paint stirrer)...the eyes are cut out so th eyes and the hair is really the person who is holding the photo/mask up to their face...but when the bday person walks in all they see is people holding a mask of him (the bday person) up to their (the guests) faces! It was pretty funny but I can`t figure out how to do it or if anyone sells this (if you supply your own photo)....anyone hear of this?.
