Wording Of Invitations

Is it okay to ask for donations in our invitations? If all the invited guests show up it will only be a party of 13. We are renting a suite, stripper and getting all the food and alcohol...does this sound dumb or should I leave it out:

What to bring: We’ve got the room, food, drinks, games (and something extra!) A donation would be VERY appreciated to help defer the costs involved in this awesome party!
