Ushers Or No Ushers

I`m having an outdoor wedding were everyone will be milling around before the big event. This is an informal wedding with around 95 people showing up. My step-mother says that I need to have ushers for my mother, step-mother, grandmother (maternal), mother-in-law, etc. Do I really need ushers if this is an informal outdoor wedding?

You do not "need" ushers. Sure it`s nice for the moms, grandmas, etc. But if you don`t want them, don`t have them. Also, if it is an outdoor wedding, people may be coming from all different sides, whereas in a church, people are simply coming from the back. So it might be easier not to have ushers. Or if they really want ushers, just have them ushered down. It`s your wedding, do what YOU want.
