Wedding Theme Ideas For A Jan 3rd Wedding

I am getting married on Jan 3rd. I can`t decide on a wedding theme. I have the location for the ceremony and reception which is located in the same building. However, I need some ideas for themes. I would love it to be upbeat and happy. It will be a 7 pm wedding so it will be dark. I want to use candles and perhaps lots of Christmas lights. Even thought about mixing lights with tule and draping it from the pews like garland. I need to theme I guess so i can get started. No costume themes. He calls me his princess. My gown is strapless, fabric is ivory organza with ice blue flowers on bodice which thin out at waist to floor.

PLEASE HELP! THANKS!!!

A cinderella wedding at disney world, a cleopatra and anthony, or arabian nights theme.

Winter Wonderland - floating white and ice blue candles, twinkling lights look beautifl wrapped in tulle, silver lame over the white tablecloths and silver plated picture frame table number frames with winter related table names, crystal bead ornaments favors, etc, etc, etc. Where do you live? Will it be snowing?

There`s a million things you could do at this time of year - if you need more ideas, e-mail me at: mansurfamily@hotmail.com.

Good Luck.

What about "Ice Castles", perhaps you could get a couple of ice carvings that are lit up, etc.

WOW! I`m getting married on Jan 3 too...
Our wedding wont have a particular theme... But we`re using burgundy, gold and green.
I think your wedding will be more beautiful with a lot of lights and flowers... FLOWERS makes everything more elegant... Make sure you get a really good florist.
That`s what we`re going by... Good Luck!

I love the idea of ice carvings!!! that is sooooo cool!!! but i agree that whatever you are interested would be an awsome idea. Also it is a neat idea to have a newspaper (check out local print shops) that has a history and funny things etc. About your relationship. CONGRATULATIONs!!!!
