Depo

I received the depo injection for 3 years after the birth of my son. I spotted for the first 6 months and did not spot ever again. It was great not to have a period or have to worry to take a pill. No weight gain or mood swings for me. I have been off it now for 8 months and continue to wait for my period. I have had mild cramping now for the past 5 months. If I was to do it over I would get an IUD as it has no side effects and can be used for ~ 5 years I believe.
