Candy Apple Wedding Centerpieces

Hi! i am using candy/caramel apples as favors for my october wedding. I want to find a way to arrange them so they can be the centerpieces as well. Any ideas? has anybody done this and has pictures? thanks!

How about if you hollow out medium to large pumpkins (depending on how many guests you are seating to a table.) Add a pretty fall themed cloth to line the pumpkin inside & just lay/stack the apples inside?
My friend did this with stacked hat boxes in the middle of her tables. Each hat box had a different favor inside (gourmet coffee packs, candles, candies). Everyone just picked & took what they wanted. Or find fall themed hat boxes & put one on each table & fill them with the apples.

You could use bread baskets, you could put the candy apples in the bread basket, decorate the handles of the baskets and line the baskets with a fabrick that coordinates with your wedding colors. You could put a basket of apples in the center of each table. I would wrap each apple in cellophane and add decorate the stems of the apples.

What kind of a stuck-up snot says "Ew" and "Not very elegant..." about someone`s wedding plans? disregard the reply below this one!

You could use a cheap cake stand so they are elevated above the table, (Or simply use a plate on top of something that acts like a pedestal,) and have them going in a circle around some candles, with loose fall coloured flower blossoms placed between some of the apples, candles etc. Or you could have them arranged with small pine cones, ribbon, and loose blossoms in a bowl or on a plate. The options are endless...AND ELEGANT.

You could get some small galvanized buckets and fill them with coffee beans then stick the apples in them stick down (the coffee beans should keep them sturdy).

Love the idea...I have a friend who used this idea and she used baskets. As for this not being "classy". Your wedding should be about you and your groom...not about filling some type of sterotypical centerpiece! Being unique is key :)

Buy some green "leaves" and either tie them with green leaf tape to the stick or to a toothpick. Use a white pen to write directly onto the leaves to either write the name of the person who will be sitting in that seat/table (as a placeholder) or write the bride and groom`s name and wedding date. Play with the size of the leaves -- it looks really cute!

Hi, great idea cause im actually doing the same thing and getting married in november. Im making the apples and then putting them in clear sulifane bags, and wrapping them in ribbon of the color of my wedding. You can by mirrors ver y inexpensive at hobby lobby or micheals. Put and candle( such as a hurricane shade) and put that on mirror, with ethier flower petals on tables or leaves and set the candy apple at each place setting. Its very cute we set it up at the reception hall to see what it would look like. Its very adorable. Thats a great favor, and very easy to work with, cause anything that you do will be cute and look great. So adorable. Good luck and congrats!
