HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH ORDERING FLOWERS ONLINE!!!!
I ordered my flowers online from Marisol Blooms.com and never recieved them. I was on the phone for 4 hours jumping between the carrier and the flower company up until 5 minutes before my rehearsal dinner still with no explanation of who lost them or where in the world they were....Nobody knew, and they kept blaming eachother. The girl (Kristina) on the phone explained to me that this kind of thing happens all of the time and there was nothing she could do for me at this time...I would have to wait until tomorrow. Well I was making the boquets, bouttoniers and corsages myself...How could I wait?. Neither she, nor the farm they worked with or the carrier had any idea where the flowers were. I could not understand how 450 roses just get misplaced, and explained that to her, but she had no sympathy whatsoever. It is now 2 1/2 weeks since my wedding, and I have yet to recieve an apology from the company. I feel like I was just shoved aside. I ended up going from grocery store to grocery store trying to find roses that would match my color scheme (Coral, peach and white). $670.00 later I ended up with flowers that were more beautiful that the ones I ordered to begin with. (Originally my flower bill was $380) Don`t underestimate grocery store flowers....They were expensive but gorgeous. (and reliable) But I am still upset with the company. The least they could have done was apologize.

That is so awful! I`m sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with Marisol Blooms. I was going to order flowers online too, but wasn`t impressed with the bad customer service on the phone. I finally found a local wholesaler (Awesome Roses in Novato, CA) who met me in person, gave me competitive prices and I didn`t have to pay shipping. I highly recommend this method to those of you out there who are doing the flowers yourself. I also recommend having a lot of extra hands to help a few days before as it is a big job.

I maintain a floral help bio on the knot, "Fleur_de_lis," and was wondering whether I could borrow this rant for inclusion in the bio under the Wholesaler/Retailer Reviews section.
Thanks.
