Event Planner

I would like to know what I need to do to become an event planner because out of everything, it is something I enjoy doing the most. I am getting ready to attend college for my freshman year. Is there a certain class that I need to take in order to start doing what I enjoy? I have already began but I can use some helpful information.

I too am wanting to get into the event/party planning. I`ve been searching web sites and have ordered some material that has not arrived, but perhaps we can work through this together. I have planned reunions and other types of things, and love to make crafts for gifts. I thought I might could incorporate that into my business. I look forward to sharing.
