Ice Cream

My fiance wants to serve ice cream at our wedding. I think it is in poor taste. Has anyone been to a wedding where ice cream was served? I need help convincing him that this is a bad idea. Any suggestions?

Depends. We are having an ice cream sundae bar. But thats along with a cake and a chocolate fountain. If he wants to serve just ice cream, then yes thats in bad taste, but along with cake is fine I would think.
