Depo Shot

I just wanted to let all of you girls know--be soooooo careful how long you are on the depo shot. No one told me the bone density side effect when I started taking it 6 yrs ago. Now I have the startings of oesteoperoius in my spine and both hips and I am only 31yrs old. Now I am told that I should not carry anymore children--I only have one. I am sooo depressed. I have other health problems--but now this. The shot was wonderful--I am a migraine sufferer and it really helped with that and I have had no period or bledding in six years. My sex drive did decrease though. Here`s the kicker girls--I cannot take any kind of birth control pills--the all make me sick so after an awful decission my husband is having a vasectomy at the end of the week. Both doctors have advised this would be best. So please think double and triple before taking the shot and if you do DO NOT take it for a long time---I wish I knew then what I know now. Crushed in ny
