Coming Off The Shot

I first took the shot in Nov of 98 and just stopped taking it this April. When I first got it I had a 3 week long period and then had no actual periods thereafter. I gained 40 pounds after about the third shot and have steadily gained weight since. I was about 130 pds and now I`m up to 200 and counting. I`ve tried everything to lose weight diet exercise you name it and nothing has worked. I decided that even though I have Endometriosis I`m willing to risk severe pain to see if I lose weight. Did anyone lose weight after getting off the shot?
