Stay Away From The Depro Shot!!!

I went on the shot after my 40th birthday. My gyne thought it was safer than the pill. Well in three years I have put on almost 20 pounds, even though I exercise and watch what I eat. I can`t seem to lose an ounce. I also feel like I am preganet all the time. My bra size went up a size, I am always bloated and always tired. I have no energy. Besides I have very bad PMDD , this has made it worst. When I am at the end of my three month term and ready for another shot, I get very moody and angry. I also take Sarefrem for my PMDD. I feel depressed more now than before I took the shot.

I was on the birth control pill and sarefrem and I didn`t have the weight gain or the lack of energy, or the depression. I would just get the regular three day before your period crabbiness.

Also, ladies, this shot completely depletes your sex drive. I absolutely have no sex drive. The sarafrem(prozax) will deplete it too, but once I went on the shot I had no sex drive at all.

I am stopping the shot and going back on the pill, and getting off the sarefem and trying Wellbutrin. I need something to help my PMDD, but not at the price the shot did. It was the worst thing I every did.

Don`t take it no matter what your dr says.
