Cover girl has that lipstick that is the color and a clear gloss separate (i can`t think of the name) and it stays on excellent -= i have been out for hours drinking, and kissing my man and the stuff is still on. You just have to put the clear stuff on once in a while so your lips don`t get dry (but its still better cuz you don`t have to use a mirror to put on clear gloss)
It honestly for the most part makes no sense to buy expensive make-up - i have done a lot of theater and what we always did was to put foundation on first, even on your eyelids (i just use covergirl liquid stuff - i have very sensitive skin) then you put on everythin else and when you are done dust everything with powder and it should stay just fine. I would use a smudge-proof waterproof mascar (again you can use cover girl or maybelline stuff that works just as well as that other stuff at a fraction of the cost):)

Laura Mercier is by far is the best..It is expensive, but worth it..Secret camoflauge is great for under the eyes and evening out the skin. I used it for my wedding and couldn`t be happier. PS No offense to last person`s post, but the cover girl lip gloss is terrible, or at least I thought so..it gets very cakey, and honestly doesn`t seem to stay on very long. Perhaps I picked the wrong color..reds may be a better choice.

IGIA has lip gloss that is supposed to stay on till YOU take it off. I want to try some out before my wedding day.

Under eye make-up/blemishes:
Try using a very fine brush to apply your concealer. Dab it on with the brush and blend with your fingertips. Works great.

If your budget allows, hire a make-up artist for the day. I hired a mak[up artist she did the make-up for my pre-shooting and the wedding. The day of the wedding she did a facial, arched my eyebrows, and put on eye lashes in addiion she made sure my make-up was flawless prior to taking pictures after the ceremony, and after dinner. She touched up my make-up the entire night. Her price also included a make-over for my matron of honor. All of the above was afforded to her as well. This was a great investment because my pictures are flawless. There won`t be another chance to capture this moment.

For my first wedding, I used Mary Kay . They have or did have a foundation specific for picture taking called "Day Radiance". It is a little thicker than the usual foundation but It worked great and didn`t feel heavy.
Contact a local Mary Kay consultant. They do free consultations and makeovers usually. Well worth your time. Maybe even have all your bridal party together for makeovers.
You may be able to purchase a trial size tube of the "Day Radiance" to use for your wedding. I had enough to use for several applications. I used it everytime I was having pictures taken and was very pleased.

MAC You have to go with MAC.

If you are wearing a tube top dress have them airbrush the area showing to blend in with your facial foundation. Your pictures will be excellent. And your make up will last throughout the day.
