HERE`S A CANDLE LIGHTING POEM BOOK!!!
I found a book that has actual poems written for Bar/Bat Mitzvah candle lighting ceremonies. I`ve posted this information before, but I still see a lot of people asking for help with poems. The book is called, "This One`s For You: Poems for the Bar/Bat Mitzvah Candle Lighting Ceremony". It is written by Marcy Schwartz. It gives poems for friends, relatives, jews and non-jews. It also tells you how to choose the people who you will honor for the candle lighting. Good Luck and I hope this helps!!

Lauren, you might be able to get the book at Barnes & Noble or Borders. The stores by my house did not have it in stock, but said they could order it for me. I ordered mine off of amazon.com. Good Luck!

Gayle, my son`s Bar Mitzvah is not until November, and we haven`t written his candlelighting poems yet. I don`t think I`m ready to give up the book at this time. Did you try looking on Amazon for a used copy? Sorry I couldn`t be more help to you.

Marlo.....I did look for used and it is 30$. Our Bat Mitzvah is not until Feb if you are interested in selling it after your need for it.
