Wedding Outdoors

I am renewing my vows on July 5, 2003 and i was wandering if a wedding out doors was a good thing to have cause my family says if its not in a church it isnt witnessed by god i strongly disagree with that does any one feel the same way or am i the one whos wrong??

As I told my family members, I felt comfortable in God`s created naturally beautiful environment. I was always taught I did not have to be in church to honor and worship God.
There are plenty of ministers who will officiate an outside service.

Hi Heather
On June 4 I celebrated my 25th Aniversery and I renewed my vows with a prist in my brother-in-law house, in his garden. I felt closer to God their because
I could look up and see the sky (heaven) It was truly a
Magical out side gaarden beautiful God given day.

I agree with all of you. I think God caught the first performance and a sequel doesn`t matter really.
How much did your wedding cost to have in a church? {rhetorical question}. I think God belongs outside for everyone to enjoy. We build churches and wotnots and decorate them how we see fit, whether gold-gilted elaboration or whatever. I think God prefers everything au natural and I think you`ll have a wonderful renewal ceremony wherever you want, if God is within.

Weigh the pros and cons. Weather is the largest contributor to the cons. Always have a plan "B". I think outside weddings are the most beautiful of all and there is so much flexibility for creativeness. Be sure to skim thru the wedding magazines to see pictures of the various things couple have done to decorate and make their wedding their own (without spending an arm and a leg!).

God made the whole earth, and he is everywhere all the time. Have an outdoor wedding there is nothing wrong with it.
