Since I started this thing Im going to go ahead and reply first.

1. How long did you date before you got engaged? 4 1/2 years. New years eve 2004

2. Did you get the ring you wanted? YES!!! I love it! Its a vintage style ring from robbins brothers.

3. Was the proposal a complete surprize? Yes and no. I knew he was going to propose. I knew he already had the ring. He knew that I knew. But when he actually proposed It shocked the hell out of me. He pulled it off so well that day. I was way too surprized I couldnt even speak. I didnt give and answer.

4. Do you wish you had a bigger/smaller diamond? If so How big or small? We chose a 1 carat together but I think its kinda too big, the band itself already is big and has lots of diamonds. I dont even really wear it that much and its always getting knocked into things.

5. Did you cry when he proposed? No I was too surprized. I didnt even know he was proposing until he actually got on his knee and pointed to a big sign he had made that said "NANCY WILL YOU MARRY ME?" We got it on video and now when I see it or think of it I feel like crying. Its so sweet. I make him proposed to me now over and over again whenever we go someplace nice.

6. Was the proposal romantic or creative? Explain how if you`d like.
Yes it was both! He proposed at Catalina Island, California. Under water on a submarine ride.

7. Where do you want to go for your honeymoon? Probably Europe or someplace tropical.

8. Are you buying his wedding band for him?
Yes hes already wearing it. Why? I dont know.

9. Have you gone over your origional wedding budget? We havent put any deposits down but origionally we wanted to stay under 10 thousand but we have realized its impossible for what we want to do.

2. Did you get the ring you wanted?yes, the diamond was inherited from my mother, and we had it reset as a diamond solitatire in white gold. Exactly what I wanted

3. Was the proposal a complete surprize? He was able to pull it off as a surprize. I knew the ring was being made and I knew the date it was supposed to be done, but Jake was able to fool me into thinking there was some sort of problem with the band I picked and it was going to take a few more days until it would be ready.

4. Do you wish you had a bigger/smaller diamond? If so How big or small?
Actually, the diamond is too big. I don`t feel comfortable wearing it out. When I do, I turn it inwards in my hand and no one sees it anyway. Once I get my wedding band I`ll wear that, and my engagement ring on special occasions.

5. Did you cry when he proposed?
I believe I did...

6. Was the proposal romantic or creative? Explain how if you`d like.
Both--We`ve been working so hard on our house at that time, rennovating, he thought it would be nice to get out of town, go to the family cabin and do some fishing and snow shoeing. While we we`re out snowshoeing I was preoccupied at the lake making snow angels and throwing snow balls I didn`t even realize that he was on his knee with the ring in his hand....

7. When do you want to go for your honeymoon?
We`re going to Bora Bora and Moorea

8. Are you buying his wedding band for him?
Yeah, isn`t that how it usually works

9. Have you gone over your origional wedding budget?
Not yet...

2. Did you get the ring you wanted? absolutely. My friends knew exactly what i wanted and he asked them behind my back and then got me a ring even better than the one i wanted

3. Was the proposal a complete surprize? yes and no. I had a feeling it was coming, but one the day it actually happened he was able to catch me completely off guard.

4. Do you wish you had a bigger/smaller diamond? If so How big or small? i think it`s perfect. 1 carat princess cut in the center and then 7 little diamonds (equal to 1/2 carat) on either side. It`s not as gaudy as it sounds. It is actually quite dainty because i have really small hands. But the quality of the diamonds are spectacular. I couldn`t have asked for a better ring :)

5. Did you cry when he proposed? i cried and was shaking all over. In all fairness, he cried a little bit too.

6. Was the proposal romantic or creative? Explain how if you`d like.
It was romantic. He took me back to the place that he told me he loved me for the very first time, which was about 8 years ago. At that time i wold him i just wanted to be friends. Then we started dating about 3 years later and the rest is history. So he took me back to that same place, so we could have a "do-over."

7. Where do you want to go for your honeymoon? st. Lucia or antigua

8. Are you buying his wedding band for him?
Yup. I already did. But he picked it out and then i had it engraved. He has no idea what`s engraved on it yet

9. Have you gone over your origional wedding budget? not yet. Our budget is only 10k and so far I am able to have the wedding i want on this budget. I think in the end we may go over by about $1000, but that`s really not bad at all
