My partner and i are eloping and dont know how to word the invitations for the party when we get back can u help? in the invites i want to tell them where we went and that is a formal occasion

I think you can start off by saying something like:
We Eloped! or
(Your names) were married on Sept 10, 2005 at 1:00 in the afternoon in Honolulu, Hawaii
Come celebrate with us at a formal dinner/reception on Sept. 30, 2005 at (time) and (place)
Or - Join us for a formal dinner/reception at date, time. Place
