Finger Foods, Canapes, Etc.

Wedding is October 1, 2005 at 7:00 pm and we are serving "finger foods", canapes, etc. At the reception. Any ideas on these type of foods - I have a chef at a restaurant doing the cooking but his ideas are kind of the same old thing. Under a budget but any help would be appreciated.
