I`M GETTING MARRIED IN CANTON, OHIO, JUNE 14TH 2003, NEED A PLACE TO HOLD RECEPTION. PLEASE SOMEONE GIVE ME IDEAS, WEBSITES, PHONE #`S. 40 PPL MAX, NO CATERING. INSIDE OR OUTSIDE WITH ENCLOSED SPACE.

Have you tried looking at some of the nicer area parks? IF the setting is right, a wedding at a park can turn out beautiful! You probably already know this but if you go to yahoo and type in Canton, OH it comes up with a list of parks in the area. I was surprised when I saw there were over 60!!!
If you could have a caterer (sp?) the Hilton is a beutiful Hotel and has a great ballroom area (but I am not sure about the one in Canton I am only familiar with some of the other ones. Good luck!!!

I am having my reception at Chateau Michele in Canton. It is beautiful. I had my shower there and they did an incredible job. My wedding is in two days, so if you want, I will let you know what it was like.

Hello.... And best wishes!
I just happened upon this post by accident, but I have a few suggestions....
1. Meadowlake- golf course, nice bar/restaurant facility called "Rafters" They may be able to help you with an outside event, but in case of weather they have a nice party room area with vaulted ceilings, great view, nice people, etc... (having a party there myself next year!) Ask for Bud- he is a friend of mine.
2. Carriage Hill Club- Large mansion with party facilities for a smaller (under 50, I think) gathering. Beautiful grounds there.

I was wondering if anyone has any wedding / reception site ideas. I am trying to plan our wedding (Labor Day weekend) on a tight budget and at last moment. We only need space for 30 guests max.! Can anyone help? I don`t even have a dress yet! Thanks!
