2 Yold Birthday Party

We adopted our daughter from China last year and did not have a party for her 1st birthday so I want to do something special for her. She loves elmo and big bird. Besides having these characters at my party , does anyone have any other ideas that we could do for all of the kids to make this an event to remember? The kids will be ages 2 through 16 years old, boys and girls
