Depo Shot

I recently went off the shot after 6 years. In those 6 years i did gain weight which is the reason i got off of it. My doctor sent me for a bone density scan and it came back abnormal. Come to find out they just recently found out it causes irreversable bone loss. Guess they should have tested this a little better!!!!

I can`t believe that. I have been on Depo for almost 5 years. I`ve been thinking about getting off of it because I have gained weight. That`s good to know, it helped me make my decision.
