Havin A Quince But Not Hispanic
Ok i`m havin a quince but i`m not hispanic; i`m native american. But i`m only having one because a lot of my hispanic cousins and friends had one and they think that i should. I want to because i think it would be fun and i dont wanna disappoint my friends but then i dont think it would be right because they`re not my traditions. If i didnt have a quince i would definitely have a sweet sixteen which is kinda the same thing. Well thats wut my friends said and they think i should just have a quince anyway because i grew up around them and mexican traditions and thats all i know. Wut do u guys think?

Hey. I think you should have a quince if you realy want and would truly treasure it. Its something amazing and even if its not your culture, your still a girl who will turn into a woman and a quince is a celebration of that. It would be a great experience. If you dont feel right doing something that isn`t your tradition or culture though, then just have a sweet sixteen because its still a huge birthday party just without the religious part. Im going 2 have mine in november and im only half mexicana. It doesnt bother me. All of my friends are hispanic and they think i should still have mine. Go 4 it grl!

I really dont think you should do it just b/c ur friends want u 2..its YOUR special night to remember, not theirs ...but if its cuz u want it, sure go ahead..just do it for urself
