Silk Flowers

Is it ok to use silk flowers for my centerpieces? I am having doubts with what I made. I have red and cream silk roses alternating around a ring. The ring is around a hurricane lamp. Around that are 3 votive candles. I am using real roses for all the bridesmaids bouuets (and mine). Do you think it is tacky to use silk for the centerpieces which people will stare at while they eat. Help? I think what I have made look great I am just having doubts about silk?
