I had a music theme for my son what I did for center pieces was get posters of lots of different music people..beatles..brittney spears, who ever the kids like and had them mounted on foam core..the adults I sat at the oldies and kids had more current ones the place cards were blank CD`s and after they sat down they could have thier picture taken and put in the CD case..it was very cute the CD`s were set out in what looked like a music store..A`s B`sI hope I was of siome help to you..

My daughter`s theme is music too. I just had 12 centerpieces designed - each one is different: jazz, blues, country, classical, folk, classic rock, broadway, movie theme songs, big band, etc. They were personally designed. Each one has a collection of things that pertain to that genre and there is 1 major piece that is the center. The place cards match. The artist is about to put these on a website. Let me know if you are interested. I have never seen anything like these. And I have been to many bar and bat mitzvahs!!
