Looking For Job Experience In Special Events

I have taken classes in Special Events Mgt at George Wash Univ. I have been having a difficult time trying to break into the industry. I have worked in the past as an independent contractor for various companies as day of event staff. I am hoping somebody out there will give me the opportunity to work for them and to learn from the best to be the best. I am looking for opportunities in Metro Phila area and Northern Delaware.
