Scottish/American Marriage

I am Scottish and my girlfriend is American. I am currently in the USA on a non immigrant temporary working visa (H1-B) If we decide to get married, what will this mean for me and what will this mean for her? do both of us get both a UK & a US passport or do we need to choose either or and are we both free to live in work in the UK, Europe & USA?

Well, you need to check with imigration, but this does not make you free to live either place. In 5 years if you are still married (here in the US) you will become a form of an american citizen, but you need to apply for a green card. Depending on the citizens laws in your country, you have to follow those and she will hve to follow similar steps. You should google the national imigration website for the US and see if your country also has a site, that will help you alot!
