Just Bought A Ring...

Okay, I just bought a ring for that special someone in my life, and I need some ideas on the kind it should be, and how to give it to her...

Well, the 8th though 10th of July we`ll be at the beach, and I need to know if the ring should be a "Will you be with me?" ring or a promise ring, or what? Also, what do I say when I give it to her?
