Here are some pep rally ideas. First lights and sound are your best friends, use them to set an upbeat mood. We often use powerpoints or run video through projectors onto our gymansiums screen. Anything from recent sports games works great. We also introduce sports teams with them luck etc. Contest draws, and any other give aways or on the spot contests work great as well.

What we did is we turned off all the light and had only our school colors shining and then teh team ran out wit the colors shining on them and we introduced them (first pep rally) and then the music started playing and we threw candy at the crowd or you can like flip it and have you doin a routine and the sportteam players throwing the candy what ever u want to do.

I am in desprate need for some ideas for a pep rally that will be taking place at my local High School next Thursday. You think that we could come up with something exciting but we keep thinking of the same games and songs and everything. The sad thing is that we have presented each and every game at every pep rally our school has had over the past 25 years. So could you please help me out with something exciting and new that could bring an extra puff of spirit into me High School. Email me at melissa.86@earthlink.net

Recently, we had an awesome pep rally. We blacked out our gym with dark poster paper and trash bags and put black lights all around us and some others shining on the different classes. We also sold alot of glow-in-the-dark sticks, necklaces, and mouth peices.(which made alot of money for the squad)Then, we did a dance to techno music in black pants and longsleeve shirts with white gloves on. It was the coolest pep rally we had ever done and it got our school really involved.

I am the president of our student council and I have found that we don`t have school spirit at our pep rallys. We have found some ways to add to the spirit but it still isn`t where we would like it to be. Here are some of the ideas that are helping us get on our way to a great school and great school spirit. Anything FREE! Teens like anything that is free, whether it is prizes or candy whatever fits you budget. Powerpoint presentations help lots too,. I good idea is to take your yearbook pictures and put them into a powerpoint. Kids get a chance to see what they have done and others get a chance to see what has been going on in the school year. The final thing is make huge posters! Put their team or club on it and around that put that names of all of those people that involved. After the pep rally we put them in the gym hall way and leave them there until there season ends. Hope that helps you out some. Good Luck and don`t forget those old fashion school cheers!

I am President of our Student Council. We have fun Pep Assemblys and can get the crowd going. Try having a band play or doing a dance competition between the classes by using a dance spinner w/ different songs. Or try a eating challenge; we used crackers w/o water and it was great! For our winter weekend w/ b-ball, every class has a wall in the gym to decorate behind their bleachers. It`s fun to see what the class puts up there and it brings them together too. Have fun with it!

Hey. At our prep rallys, our cheer leaders have say a cheer and the loudest grade who repeats it gets the spirit stick. After that, the cheerleaders show off their tricks and then do a dance to a song and the dance have that kind of dancin that the guys like- alot off shakin their butt and stuff and the students whistle and scream and clap, so they must have liked it.
