The Proposal

Just wait it out. Make sure you tell him that you want to be engaged, but if you are still young, and its still early in the realationship, you really want to take it easy and get to know everything (and I mean everything) there is about the other person. If you have the time to wait, do it. If its meant to be, its going to happen.

It is so worth it to wait. I felt like i pushed and pushed for the longest time. I eventually backed off about it and he ended up proposing to me abt a year later. Even though i backed off, i still get this feeling in the pit of my stomach, that i pushed too much and I always wonder, would we be married today if i hadnt done that. So it is NOT a good idea to push. Some guys just like to take things slow (like my hubby)! We were together 3 years before we were married and I still think we could have waited longer. To me, 6 months is not that long. Granted, people have been married sooner than that and still are together but I dont feel it is a good idea. In a relationship, the first 6 months are normally the best, then about after a year you start to hit the rough spots. Then I feel if you can make it through that, you will do fine! Be patient!!! You dont want to scare him away, which could very well happen!
