Is It Ok To Put A Quinceanera Song In A Sweet 16

HEY I need help in what kind of song I should play for my vals and is it ok to play thalias song "Quinceanera" @ my sweet 16

I`m doing research at FIU in Miami concerning how Anglos have had to change their sweet sixteens to fifteens or Quinces because of being in a predominately Hispanic culture. If your Anglo or non-Hispanic and celebrated a Quinces please e-mail i want to know your experience. Thanks, Silvio
