Attire For FOB

My dau is marrying in Sept. The groom and groomsmen are wearing gray tux. The BMs are wearing wine dresses. I have purchased a gold shimmer dress which complements the BMs dresses but now i`m concerned that my husband and i will clash if he wears the same tux that the GM are wearing. Is there a rule about what the brides father should wear?

Normally the FOB is suppose to wear a tux, similar to the wedding party but not the same.
